Week #5 - Service Apartment Is Booked!
Hello and welcome to my blog! As some of you might know by this point, I´m Alva, a swedish teen who will soon explore Hong Kong and you have the oppurtunity to join me!

As I guessed in my last weekly update, this week has been great! I started off with a relaxing day at my country house. The day was filled with trampolinejumoing, long walks and reading. LOTS of reading. I finished one of my favourite books that I´ve read a few times before. It´s a swedish book by the author Gareth P. Jones and it´s increadable. I don´t know if you can find it in english, but if you possibly know swedish I highly reccomend reading it. Anyways, the next day my best friend arrived by train so by dad, my brother and I picked her up at the station and we went to one of my favourite places for strawberry picking, yum! During the following days we spent some time by the lake, played on our trampoline, took a few walks in the area and much more. We had a blast! On thursday afternoon we drove home and on friday I met up with my friend again and went shopping. Since we are in the middle of packing I´m unfortunely not aloud to buy new clothes, accessories, etc but we did enjoy an hour or two at McDonalds... Unfortunely all good things come to an end and we had to say goodbye later that afternoon. It´s always hard saying goobye and the fact that the friend I said goodbye to today was one of my best doesn´t make it any easier. But we were very clear to eachother that we will see eachother again fairly soon!

On Saturday we attended my baby cousins baptizing. Believe it or not, it was my very first time meeting her because my uncle, his wife, and my other cousin live in Norway and we sadly don´t see them very often. The baptizing went great and my cousins were so presious. One of my cousins, the one who was baptized, was very interested in my glasses haha!

We had planned going to some of our family friends but the visit was unfortunaly canceled so the rest of the evening, as well as today, was used for packing.

By the way, our service apartment is booked! We will be leaving Stockholm July 26 or possibly July 27. The area our service apartment complex is where we will live when our furniture arrives which probably is in around 8-12 weeks from now. There´s a nice public pool in the area which my mom, my brothers and I will be spending a lot of time before school starts.

I´m so relieved that the service apartment is finally booked and everything is finally starting to come together. In fact, in two weeks I will be living Sweden for an exciting adventure in Hong Kong!

Hong Kong Hugs,
