Hi everyone! Welcome to the eighth week of my Hong Kong adventure!

 

After planning, packing, and preparing my family and I have finally arrived in Hong Kong to start our big adventure here in Hong Kong! I am so relieved and excited and I can already, after just a few days, tell that I will enjoy our time here very much.

 

My week began the same way as the past seven weeks. Packing, preparing, planning, repeat. Plus some more packing. We were all so excited, but of course a bit nervous aswell... I mean, who wouldn´t be? Moving across the planet is quite nervracking. As nervcited (is that a word?) as we were, we all managed to get some sleep the night before traveling, but when we woke up we were certainly as excited as the past night - maybe even more!  On tuesday I spent the day relaxing until the time had come. It was time to leave Stockholm for Hong Kong! Our taxi left my uncles apartment at 16:15 and our flight to Zürich leaved at 19:35. We had dinner at a nice place at the airport and bought some candy at the Tax Free shop. My last swedish candy for a while! our flight to Zürich was a little late, butwe did catch our flight from Zürich to Hong Kong without any larger issues. Our next flight went well and I slept most of the time. I slept through the dinner too oops... But I managed to be awake when the breakfast came and it wasn´t too bad. The view from the window while landing in Hong Kong was magnificant, which made the feeling of landing even better!

After landing, we went to the hotel that we stayed at the last time we were in Hong Kong to visit and we stayed the night there. The next day we went to our service apartment in the town we will live in. This is the apartment that we will be living in the next month or two, and it won't be a problem to stay here... It's great! The view is amazing, the apartment is nice and it's only a short walk into town and to my school. 

Tomorrow, my dad will start work, and because of that we went into the city today for lunch, some shopping and just to see how my dad's way to work is. It was a very nice (and sweaty) dag bit se were very pleased to be back in the apartment later on.
