Week #17 + #18 - Camping Week, Visit from Sweden and A New Family Member!
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! I am so sorry my blogging schedule has been a bit shaky the last few weeks. I am currently trying to plan out my weeks better, including blogging!

So, this update will once again cover two weeks. Hoping its's the last time in a while I have to do it like this!

Let's start off with week #17! So, if you read my last update, you might remember that I mentioned that that week was camp week at my school. All of middle school (G6, G7, and G8) were going camping somewhere in Sai Kung Countrypark. The countrypark is very big, so all the grades were seperated. We started off at school on Monday morning where we got out camp groups that we would do all of our ativities with. To be honest, I was very happy with my group. I had a few friends in it, and I was excited to get to know the others better as well. After that, we were seperated in to our groups and head off by bus to Clear Water Bay Countrypark where my group went coasteering. For those of you who don't know what coasteering is, it is like rockclimbing right by the water. It was very fun, and a bit scary at times. After that exhausting day, we head to the dorms where we where sleeping that night.

I was also very happy with my dorm group, and tent group. Yes, we (unfortunaly) did not sleep in comfy beds and an air-coned rooms with proper toilets and showers the whole week... We slept in tents. The camping place, I have to say, was lovely though. It had a beautiful view over the sea nd just had a very nice vibe to it. The tents were also nice, but extremely hot. Imagine sleeping in a plastic bubble with no air con when it was over 30 celsius degrees outside... Not too great! I had brought a small fan, but that hardly made a difference. I had an amazing time at camp though. It was so fun to spend time with my new classmates in a different way than usual. The other activities were also very fun. We cooked, kayaked, hiked, and simply had a blast!

Week #18 was nearly just as fun to be honest. Even though I was back in the big jumble of reality, I was back home in my actual bedroom. While I was gone, our furniture finally arrived! After a long wait, we finally got our furniture from Sweden. I think this really had me realizing that we actually live in Hong Kong. Our little familly from Sweden are really taking on the big city HK. I really like how my room turned out. My mom got it done before I got back, and she did a great job!

Our furniture isn't the only thing that came from Sweden these past weeks. Our first visitor from Sweden also did! My grandma, or mormor as we call her (swedish), camed to stay for a week. We didn't do much, since my siblings and I were all in school and busy with reality, but we sure did spend some quality time all together as a family. I miss her already, and I can't wait to see eachother again soon!

We also got our new family member this weekend. Our little furball Luna! She is such a happy, playful dog that fits perfectly for the majority of our family... Our cat Morris is a bit scepticle. He think she's alright, but a bit too playful. I know that he will get used to her very soon though, he is such a layed back and relaxed kitty, haha!

That was basically my weeks! I had a great time, both at camp and at home. Thank you all for reading my update this week! This is was I'm excited about for next week:
Volleyball game on Tuesday,
last week before October Holidays,
and getting to know Luna better!
Please comment your three things down below, I really want to read what you are excited for!

See you next week!
Hong Kong Hugs,
Alva♥
