Hello and welcome back to my blog! As you might know, I'm Alva, a swedish teen in the process of moving to Hong Kong.

Wow, time honestly flies by. Can you believe it, my family and I only have about 3 weeks left in Sweden? Although we have been in Hong Kong to visit and get a picture of how it is there, it's hard to imagine that I will actually live there.

This past week has been great, but I think the following will top it. I'm going to one of my favourite places - my country house in the northern part of Sweden. I absolutely LOVE the nice, fresh air, the beautiful landscape and the quiete, peaceful feeling. We arrive Sunday (today) and on Tuesday my best friend wil be coming and I'm so exited. We will be staying until Thursday afternoon and when we come home my family and I will attend my baby cousins baptizing on Saturday, meet up with some family friends the same night and on Sunday we will be going back to the country house.

I'm thinking that you might want a little update about our house... It's basically the same. We still barely have a clue, but we have nearly decided our service apartment where we will live before our furniture arrives in Hong Kong! Well, note the "nearly"... We have a few options, and whatever we decide will determine when my mom, my brothers and I will travel to Hong Kong. If you don't know, my do will be working in Hong Kong which is the reason we are moving. My dad starts working August 1st, but our school doesn't start until August 16th which means that if we all go in the end of July as we first planned my mom, my brothers and I would have nearly 3 weeks in a very hot, large city that we at the moment don't know much about. We have some ideas what to do, but at the time out current apartment in Stockholm will be emptied so we don't have anywhere to live, so depending on what service apartment we choose, we might be going on a smaker trip, or we will travel to Hong Kong.
