Hi everyone! For those of you who don´t know, I´m Alva! A swedish teen adventuring around in Hong Kong.

 

This is my very first extra post! Along with doing my weekly updates, I´ll also be posting extra things about Hong Kong around once a week, starting today!

 

So today, I will be doing pro´s and con´s on moving from my perspective and what I think is good, and not as good with moving out of the country. Let´s begin!

 

Con: Leaving friends - I think this is probably the worst thing about moving. Saying goodbye to friends is just so upsetting and sad. Although I know we will see each other again, a goodbye is never fun.

 

Pro: Seeing a new part of the world - It´s an amazing oppurtunity getting to see a new, and different part of the world! 

 

Con: Stressful packing - It´s sometimes very stressful and tiring to pack and go through all of your things before the move.

 

Pro: Meeting new people - When you move to a different part of the world you have the oppurtunity to meet new people from different cultures which is great.

 

Con: Time without furniture - That sounds a bit wierd, but the time waiting for all our furniture to arrive by boat isn´t very pleasing. My family of five will have to live with only five bags for up to 12 weeks!*

 

Pro: A fresh start - If you ask me, starting fresh after a move is so nice. New bedroom, new house, new school and everything like that.

*I just want you to know that I´m very grateful that I have a loving family, a home and food on the table every day. I know that lot´s of people barely have five bags to live by and I´m so thankful that I live the life I live and that I have the oppurtunity to travel to Hong Kong.
