Hi everyone! Welcome to my tenth weekly update. TENTH! Celebration time!!! This week, I actually did celebrate, but not my blog. I celebrated my birthday! The big 13, entering the teen years. I´ll tell you more later in this post.
I started off my week as the past week, just some relaxing at home. My younger brother William was attending an extended summer learning programme at my older brother Ludvigs and my school. The extended programmes are available for any kids and not only students at the school, so William attended a Multisport programme and he had a blast! On tuesday, after picking William up from the school, we had some lunch in town and then we headed into the city of Hong Kong to get our Hong Kong ID´s done. We had planned for it to take about 30 minutes, since we had a booked time at 15:30, but no... That booked time was just to get our number in line, to later wait about 2 hours. Luckily, there was wi-fi AND chairs, but it was quite boring. We finally got into the actuall office and everything went fine. After that, we had some dinner at a shopping mall nearby called Dragon Centre. It was a bit more local than what we were used to, so that was an experience! After enjoying some dinner at Pizza Hut, we took a taxi home and went to bed.
On Wednesday, I went to my soon-to-be classmates house for a sleepover! We had so much fun together. We tried a few DIY´s, but what we could do was quite limited since we didn´t have too much supplies and we didn´t feel like going into town to buy. We did manage to make flubber and edible cookie dough! On Thursday we went in to town for lunch and then I went home. After that, we went to look at a bicycle for my brother but it wasn´t quite what we were looking for, so we didn´t get it. After that we went to our house that we will be moving into in two weeks! I´m so excited, I absolutely love it! Unfortunaly, Ludvig got the ensuite next to the master bedroom since he wasn´t too happy with our housechoice, but my room will work just as good! One of the highlights to the house is the lovely pool area that everyone in the complex has access to. I´ll tell you more about the house in coming posts.
So, Friday was the big day! I´m always excited for birthdays, I just love the feeling. I started off the day with presents and breakfast, and then we went to drop William off for multisport. We were also going to pick up our pre-ordered uniforms for school at the uniform shop. When we ordered, we were very unsure about the sizes, but we ordered what we thought was right. It obviously showed to be completely wrong. Everything was too big, so we had to confuse the people in the shop by returning nearly everything. By everything, I mean 6 polo shirts, 4 shorts/skirts and 4 sets of PE uniforms! After a while, they called my mom "The lady who is returning a lot". Hopefully, the next time we order uniforms this won´t happen again, haha! After that, we enjoyed a birthday lunch at a resturant in town, a snack at Starbucks and somr back to school shopping. Am I crazy for wanting to go shopping for back to school as an activitie on my birthday? I don´t know, I just love it! When my dad came home from work, we had tacos and cake for dinner, yum!
On Saturday, we were just at home and took a stroll through town. Today (Sunday), we went in to the city and went to the cinema! It was so fun, and I´ve never seen such a fancy cinema in my life! Unfortunaly, I did not take any pictures... I´m planning on starting to add some pictures into next weeks update. Speaking of next week, here are the three things I´m excited over for next week:
Starting school,
Student orientation day,
Meeting my new class!
What are you excited for? Leave a comment! See you next week!
